Description

Blossom Therapeutics is located inside the ThriveWell Clinic building. Jenny Johnson uses this space to provide pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST) and Sensory Integration.

Blossom Therapeutics uses a sensory integration approach incorporating a lot of creative play and exploration to guide children in developing a better understanding of themselves and their environment. With a strong foundation of sensory processing skills, a child becomes better able to engage in play, regulate self and attention, and most importantly develop a positive sense of self.

The Healthy Oregon Project, or HOP, aims to learn about the health and wellness of people in and around Oregon. We want to learn more about how a person’s genetics, environment, and behaviors affect the risk of chronic disease, including cancer. Oregon Health & Science University is looking for research volunteers to submit saliva samples and to fill out health and behavioral questionnaires. Saliva samples will be genetically analyzed for early detection research at no charge. You may receive results, if you choose, that will indicate if you are at risk for developing genetic cancers. Download the no-cost “Healthy Oregon Project” app in your mobile app store: Apple or Google Play. You can also visit an on-site location listed here: http://healthyoregonproject.com/hop-spots/
